Symphony Medical Group works together with other healthcare providers involved in your care by exchanging medical records on your behalf electronically whenever possible.
After Hours Service
In the case of a life threatening medical emergency, you will need to call 911 for immediate assistance. Otherwise, you can contact Symphony Medical Group Physicians to discuss non-life threatening medical problems that arise after regular office hours by calling 630-668-2416 and the on call physician will call you back within 30 minutes.

Dr. Stasia Kahn
Dr. Stasia Kahn became board certified in internal medicine in 1988, following her residency at University of Illinois in Chicago. She is also board certified in clinical informatics. She graduated with honors as a James Scholar from the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine in 1985. Dr. Kahn has been in private practice in the Western suburbs since 1988 and has a special interest in healthcare information technology. Dr. Kahn’s patients appreciate her good listening and problem solving skills to diagnose the cause of unusual symptoms and her ability to evaluate multiple problems simultaneously. By getting to know her patients, she is able to provide the best guidance in maintaining and changing behaviors that may result in her patient’s optimal health. Dr. Kahn has two daughters and one son, and in her leisure time enjoys playing the cello, gardening, biking, and cooking healthy gourmet meals.
Carrie E. Nelson, MD, MS, FAAFP
Dr. Carrie Nelson became a board certified family physician in 1992, following her Family Medicine Residency at West Suburban Hospital. She completed her medical degree at Rush Medical College in 1989. Dr. Nelson has worked in the Chicago area for more than 20 years. She enjoys collaborating with her patients in order to assist them with making informed healthcare decisions. Dr. Nelson has enjoyed many facets of medicine, including teaching medical students and residents in addition to serving in positions of leadership for improving our healthcare system. Dr. Nelson has three boys, and in her leisure time enjoys running, reading, and listening to music.
